Not much to do in the rain and snow!
It looks like this was winter's last hurrah!

I have a feeling this will be the last week struggling to fill a blog update with information.  Although we had a significant winter storm on Thursday night, the forecast for the next two weeks is pointing towards the arrival of melted snow, thawed ground, and conditions allowing us to be more productive on the course.  Temperatures will be in the 40s over the weekend, mid-50s by the end of the week, and possibly low 60s the following week (aerification week).  Hopefully this forecast continues to look promising.

In order to save some labor money to use at the end of the month for the mad rush of the spring, we worked a half-day Wednesday, and nobody came in Thursday.  Friday morning, we had 165 women joining us from the District 3 Federated Garden club at 7:30am.  Luckily the snow stopped in the evening so we could begin our work then.  The lots were plowed overnight, and my staff came in early in the morning to clear the sidewalks for the ladies to safely park and enter the clubhouse.
