We continued our assault on the trees in the valley between 1,9, and 2 this week. While being careful not to affect the shape of the holes, we carefully selected 20 non-essential trees that could be removed to help improve these areas. While the majority of the trees are down now, you'll notice the logs remain. We will be removing the logs with our skid steer and dump truck once the ground re-freezes so we can protect those areas from becoming rutted.
Something Lola has been working on is her new greenhouse. In order to start plants from seed and save some potted plants from being thrown away, we purchased a small greenhouse. She has some great ideas of ways to save money and simultaneously enhance the aesthetics around the club. I'm looking forward to seeing all of her hard work put on display in the clubhouse this spring.
